IL Security Shutter Limited is committed to providing a website that is accessible and easy to use by the widest range of people, regardless of disability or impairment. We strive to do all we can and we are constantly seeking to make improvements in this area.

There are a number of steps we have already taken to address accessibility needs that are detailed below:

Layout
This site is built using WordPress and Spacious Theme and uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to control all its presentation and layouts. The Theme has built in optimisation for different devices and browsers to offer the best possible experience whatever you choose to view it on.

Fonts
Text size can be increased or decreased in your browser by following these steps:

Microsoft Internet Explorer
Choose the drop down menu at the top of the window of the browser marked “view”
A list of options will appear in the drop down menu, choose “text size”
Next another drop down menu should appear with options including “small”, “medium”, “large”, “largest”
Select “largest”.

Mozilla Firefox
Hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and press the plus (+) key
If you need to make the text smaller press Ctrl on your keyboard and the minus ( – ) key

Apple Safari

If you need to make the text smaller press the cmd on your keyboard and press the (-) key

Google Chrome
Click the ‘Customise and Control’ spanner symbol in the top right hand corner (Alt + E).
Select ‘Settings’ (‘Preferences’ on Mac and Linux)
Click on ‘Under the Bonnet’ and customise your fonts and font size in the ‘Web Content’ section

Images
We strive to include a descriptive alternate text for all images on our website. Where an image is used for design purposes there is not always a full description of the image.

Content
We have made the content throughout our site as accessible as possible. To achieve this we have;
Used clear and easy to understand language throughout the site.
Where we have link to other pages or content we have used meaningful text.
We have made sure no information is conveyed using colour.

Colour Contrast
We have tested our site using a Colour Blind Site Checker to ensure it is readable by as many people as possible. Where contrast is limited, we are looking into ways that we can offer a better experience of these pages.

Navigation Aids
We have included a sitemap which is linked in the footer at the bottom of each page to aid in navigation. All pages across the site also have a link to the homepage, and have a consistent global navigation.

Rich Media Content
At this time we have no rich media content on our website.

Document Downloads
We have a small number of PDF documents available for download on this site. There is a download link on the pages in which PDF documents exist as well as here.

Download Adobe Reader

Access Keys
At this time we have not set any access keys on this site. This should mean any personal access keys should work with no issues on the site.

Feedback
We are always looking to improve the accessibility of our site and would welcome any comments or feedback you may have. Please contact us at this address [email protected]
